Review

Lilly Allen – The Fear

1. She is a solo female artist who has a different type of tempo. You see that most of her videos are unreal however this fits in with her different image.

2. She is singing about things that seem right but are not and this video shows dancing balloons and presents it is almost made out to be a dream. The film starts off with her talking about how she wants lots of big things like money and cloths, whilst talking about this she is sitting in a trailer in the middle of a field. She then walks into a mansion and starts talking about how her life is and compares it to the normal life of the rich and famous this is when the dancing balloons and presents come out.

3. When the tempo is slower she walks slower like when the instrumental part comes in you see her slowly walking up some stairs. It is showing simple things and then when the tempo picks up she moves a bit more and does it in time with the music. She starts skipping in one part when she goes into the room with lots of presents and this shows that she is moving more the beat.

4. Lilly has a very different fashion sense which fits into the videos. She is an attractive female so this will help with sales also her music is very “in”. Her videos are similar in the way that they are all out of the ordinary. The almost cartoon like. In every video her style changes but still fits in there is only a couple of old videos in which she brought out her own style of wearing dresses with trainers, however in this video she has brought out her more feminine style. This video is more of a dream than showing reality but still fits in with the “different” style of video.

7. The view is more narrative based because she is explaining a story of life compared to something that is not real. She is acting to her words.

Britney Spears - Womanizer

5. This video is mainly sexual based. It’s talking about a man who is obsessed with woman. Britney is showed naked and in different raunchy outfits. She dances with lots of different men around her and her moves are very tasteful. The camera shows her naked body but covers up some parts aren’t allowed to be shown. It goes from scene to scene and the different women that Britney acts are all dressed in a very sexual way. There are scene of her in a sauna with no cloths on, her dressed as an office woman with short skirts and low tops.

6. For years Britney has been turned into a very appealing woman with small outfits and raunchy dances. This video relates to many others such as piece of me and boys. She is making a comeback after a very bad break down so she is relating these videos with the styles of other single female artist such as Christina and beyonce.

7. This is mainly performance based with different types of dancing with the different scenes that are very well showed in parts of the song that tells the story of the lyrics.
